Antique 14k gold double-heart amethyst and seed pearl Crown Ring.
A beautiful piece of antique jewelry history, this double amethyst heart and crown ring began its life as a sentimental stickpin before being thoughtfully converted into a wearable ring.
Two rich purple heart-cut amethysts sit side by side beneath an ornate gold crown accented with delicate seed pearls. The crowned double-heart motif was closely associated with love, devotion, union, and romantic commitment, making designs of this style especially meaningful during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.
The original antique jewel has been preserved and adapted with a ring shank, allowing a piece that may once have been worn on a lapel or bodice to live an entirely new life as a statement ring.
Details
* Antique double-heart sentimental jewel
* Two heart-shaped natural amethysts
* Seed pearl accented crown

The mixture of gold karats reflects the piece’s history: the antique upper element and later ring conversion were created at different times, preserving the original jewel while making it wearable for a new generation.
A Little History
During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, jewelers in both England and the United States created elaborate sentimental jewels featuring hearts, crowns, gemstones, and seed pearls. Fine makers—including firms such as Krementz, along with numerous smaller and often unsigned workshops—produced jewelry meant to symbolize courtship, marriage, friendship, and devotion.
As jewelry fashions changed during the twentieth century, beautiful antique pins and brooches were often reimagined as rings. Rather than allowing these small works of art to disappear into jewelry boxes, jewelers removed their pin fittings and attached new shanks, preserving their stones, symbolism, and craftsmanship.
This ring is a beautiful example of that tradition: an antique jewel with a past, transformed to be loved and worn again.
Because this is an antique converted piece, small variations, signs of age, previous workmanship, and surface wear should be expected and are part of its history and character.
Please review all photographs carefully. Antique and vintage jewelry is sold in its existing condition.
